The photographs in this series were made over an 18 month period. My desire to photograph this area started as I caught glimpses of the scenery on my daily drive to and from work. I was initially drawn to the light and spacing of the trees scattered across the many acres of open land and wanted to show this relationship in my images. After doing some research I was able to obtain permission to photograph this area on private property in New York State. Over the following months I was fortunate enough to wander through woods, streams and around lakes as well. Although far from a complete overview, I've selected images that spoke to me in some way and that seemed to fulfill my initial vision.                                       This collection of prints is being offered in a unique clamshell edition. All images are suitable for framing and are printed on premium matte paper with carbon based piezography inks yielding prints of incomparable tonal values and longevity. All images are available in larger sizes, mounted & matted on acid free board and framed to your specifications. For pricing information contact John Kiersten at jk@warwick.net.
